Make a Difference Scholarship Awarded to Courtney Lew Postelthwait
The Make a Difference Scholarship, established in December 2006, is awarded annually to a student in the Physician Assistant Program at South University’s campus in Savannah, Georgia. The fund was created by an alumnus of the Physician’s Assistant Program in gratitude for providing a rewarding career . The donor, who has chosen to remain anonymous, is contributing this award to an incoming first-year student to help offset the cost of a laptop computer. The Education Foundation and The South University Scholarship Committee are proud to announce that Courtney Lew Postelthwait, a South University/Savannah Physician’s Assistant student, received the first scholarship of $1,500. Dr. Bob Philpot, Director of the Physicians Assistant Program at South University, presents the award to a smiling Courtney in the photo, left.
