Ronald R. Russ Memorial Scholarship

Brown Mackie Russ Memorial ScholarshipRonald Russ graduated from Brown Mackie College with a degree in accounting. The Ronald Russ Memorial Scholarship was created by Donna Russ, his wife, and his son, Randall Russ (Randall is seen in the photo, left, with Traci Hand, a Russ scholarship recipient). Donna worked at Brown Mackie College in the late 1940's. The Russ scholarship is an ongoing annual scholarship awarded to a deserving Brown Mackie College student majoring in accounting.

Ronald and Donna met at the college, later married and had three children. Ronald Russ passed away in 2005. The Russ family set up the scholarship fund for second-year accounting students. Academic excellence, financial need and a written essay are considered for the annual scholarship.

If you'd like to set up a Memorial Scholarship to honor the memory of a loved one, please contact the Foundation for details. It's simple to do, and it's immensely rewarding! What a wonderful way to keep the memory of a loved one alive!
