Student Marco Deusing is this year's recipient of the Mike Heare 2012 Hall of Fame Scholarship at The Art Institute of Colorado. Mike Heare, of The Mike Heare Hall of Fame Scholarship, participated with the scholarship committee in selecting the recipient, and he was the keynote speaker at graduation this June.

Marco is studying in the Industrial Design degree program. After two years in the program, he concludes: "I am pleased to say that AiC has become so much more than an educational establishment for me. The support I have received from my classmates and instructors has been tremendously inspiring and influential. I strongly believe that the Industrial Design program at AiC will equip me with the tools necessary to channel my creativity in a productive, professional manner. The general education courses combined with the training to visualize ideas, 3D virtual modeling, and the building of actual prototypes offer a powerful combination of disciplines." Marco plans to work in Transportation Design, which has long been his passion. He would like to design concepts for a major automotive company.
