LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT:

To The Education Foundation Friends:

Dear Friends,

As The Education Foundation enters the year 2010, we want to congratulate all our participating EDMC schools for what proved to be a banner scholarship awarding year in 2009. We totaled over 400 scholarship awards to deserving students who attend The Art Institute, Brown Mackie College, Argosy University, and South University. This high return is a direct result of volunteer EDMC staff at the school level working hard to raise funds and award scholarships. We commend your efforts and hope that you share the news with your colleagues.

Since our recognition as a code 501(c)(3) by the Internl Revenue Service almost 8 years ago, we have awarded over $1,000,000 in scholarships to EDMC students throughout the country. The effect this has had on students is undeniable and could only have been possible through your enthusiasm and support of this outstanding scholarship program.

We continue to grow our list of participating EDMC schools through our various reach-out communication programs: "How To" teleconferences, E-Newsletters, interactive website, Annual Fund Solicitation and school visits.

We look forward to working with you in the future and helping you to build your scholarship program. Please continue to share your feedback about this website and Foundation activities. And don't forget to request a copy of our E-newsletter by emailing us at kfitzpatrick@edmc.edu.

Warm Regards,

George Pry,
President
